Having graduated with great distinction from the Université libre de Bruxelles, Dr Akkad practises general medicine in the belief that good follow-up starts with a relationship of trust. He places prevention and the management of chronic conditions at the heart of his work, taking the time to explain and to build a realistic care plan with each patient.
As founder of Maison Médicale Neder, he wants to offer the residents of Neder-Over-Heembeek primary care that is accessible, rigorous and deeply human.
